Broncos Journal: Ranking Pat Surtain II, Javonte Williams, entire draft class on potential rookie-year impact

Last year, 14 Broncos rookies combined to play 4,939 snaps, fourth-most in the NFL. Denver leaned on youngsters at receiver (Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler), center (Lloyd Cushenberry) and cornerback (Michael Ojemudia).

The projections are wildly different for this year’s 10-player draft class.

Only one rookie — cornerback Pat Surtain II — may start Sept. 12 at the New York Giants, and as many as four may not make the initial 53-man roster.
