2. Injured quarterback Drew Lock (right shoulder) was a practice-field observer throughout the week. Asked how critical it is for Lock to stay engaged, quarterbacks coach Mike Shula said: “Extremely important. He’s been asking a lot of questions just about the team we’re playing and we keep communicating on how he can continue to improve.
