It’s only May, but the Broncos’ rookie safeties already received an endorsement from the leader in their room.
Pro Bowl safety Justin Simmons said Caden Sterns and Jamar Johnson, both selected in the fifth round of this year’s draft, stood out to him during the first handful of OTAs.
“Just from the first couple days of practice, those guys have great ball skills,” said Simmons, who has 16 career interceptions. “That’s something that just pops out.”
