Malik Reed’s preliminary Year 2 report card is in, and according to Broncos coach Vic Fangio, the outside linebacker needs to continue “to improve a little bit at everything.”
The 24-year-old earned a role with the Broncos last season as an undrafted rookie out of Nevada, making the 53-man roster out of training camp and then getting eight starts due to Bradley Chubb’s season-ending knee injury in Week 4.
It’s been a similar story this season, as the ankle injury that’s kept Von Miller from taking the field has resulted in more opportunities for Reed alongside veteran backup Jeremiah Attaochu.
