After a “prove-it” season in 2020, Tim Patrick still feels like he has a lot more proving to do.
The Broncos wideout had a career-best 51 catches for 752 yards last year while filling in as the Broncos’ vertical threat in place of the injured Courtland Sutton. That earned Patrick a second-round tender this offseason, which in his eyes, still isn’t enough.
“Every guy’s dream is getting that long-term contract,” Patrick explained. “At the end of the day, I have to keep myself motivated in some way. Now I’m at the point where I’m (mad) that I didn’t get a first-round tender and I’m (mad) that I didn’t get the extension.
