ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- One day after foot soreness kept him out, QB Peyton Manning was back throwing as the Broncos began their lone full-pad practice of the week at midday Thursday.
But Manning was not able to throw to WR Emmanuel Sanders, who watched practice from the sideline for a second consecutive day because of an ankle injury.
Sanders has battled myriad injuries since the preseason to his hamstring, shoulder and now his ankle, but he has yet to miss a regular-season game and has only sat out a handful of series.
