ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- It's gone a bit under the radar, but the Broncos have clearly missed Omar Bolden -- especially on kickoff and punt returns.
“Missed quite a bit," said Special Teams Coordinator Joe DeCamillis. "Going in, I thought he was our best special-teams player."
And that was before he added punt returning to his duties in the Week 9 win at Indianapolis, when he took that job and seized it with an 83-yard runback at the end of the first half to kickstart a 17-point comeback.
His explosion on returns has been missed, as the Broncos have averaged 18.
