ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Safety Darian Stewart was the only Bronco not on the practice field as the team returned from its three-day respite to begin on-field preparations for Super Bowl 50.
Stewart suffered a knee injury late in the second half last Sunday and did not return, although he said he expected to play in 10 days when the Broncos face the Panthers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
All of the other players who were listed on Wednesday's injury report were on the field, including safety T.J. Ward (sprained ankle), who watched as his fellow safeties went though their practice paces.
