ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – In addition to running back C.J. Anderson the Denver Broncos had several players held out of Wednesday’s practice.
Anderson was one of five starters held out of the workout as the Broncos weren’t in pads or helmets for the practice. Linebacker Brandon Marshall (hamstring), center Matt Paradis (hip), cornerback Aqib Talib (low back) and nose tackle Sylvester Williams (ankle) did not participate.
Anderson, who was getting a second opinion from doctors in California on a right knee injury, has the most serious injury among the group. Paradis, for example, played every snap on offense in the 2015 season and hasn’t missed a snap this season, will have scheduled practice days off.
