One day after the Rams’ Super Bowl parade, the Broncos announced the hires of three former Los Angeles assistants to join Nathaniel Hackett’s staff in Denver.
As expected, Denver tabbed Ejiro Evero as defensive coordinator, Dwayne Stukes as special teams coordinator and Marcus Dixon as defensive line coach. Evero was previously the Rams’ secondary coach/pass game coordinator, while Stukes was an assistant special teams coach and Dixon an assistant defensive line coach.
The hires continue Hackett’s trend of hiring younger, relatively inexperienced coaches to round out his first-year staff. Evero and Stukes are both first-time coordinators, though both have 14 years experience coaching in the NFL.
