Denver is heading into training camp with three quarterbacks on the roster instead of four.
The Broncos on Tuesday waived Jarrett Guarantano and now will proceed forward with the trio of Russell Wilson, Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci.
Guarantano was part of a series of transactions made by Denver on report day for veterans. The team made its signing of kicker Brett Maher to a one-year deal formal and also brought back college free agent wide receiver Nick Williams, a former Cherry Creek High School standout.
Guarantano was originally signed late in the 2022 season and the Broncos felt strongly enough about him to keep him on the roster through the offseason.
