ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – With running back C.J. Anderson in California Thursday, set for an arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, the Denver Broncos were faced with depth chart decisions.
Their immediate concern is Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers as Anderson damaged the meniscus in his knee and the best-case scenario is he misses multiple games, but is able to return to the lineup this season.
The worst-case scenario is Anderson suffered a full cartilage tear that required a more significant repair and then he would be placed on injured reserve and miss the rest of the season.
