At least the Denver Broncos don’t play this weekend.
That’s where we are right now with this franchise. It’s only been five years since the Broncos won the Super Bowl, and it feels like so much longer. Still, what a sad and sorry state of affairs for a once-proud franchise.
The good news is Denver rookies Javonte Williams and Pat Surtain II seem like the real deal. They’ll be fun to watch for years to come. There’s also receiver Jerry Jeudy, who should return against the Washington Football Team. Aside from that, I honestly don’t know.
