SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- If Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib has done anything in the build-up to Super Bowl 50, he has unveiled himself to the football nation as the quick-witting, rapid-fire guy his teammates see, and hear, every day.
And Tuesday added another to a growing list as Talib recounted a story about receiving an in-school suspension because he talked back to a fourth-grade teacher who had told him he would not make it to the NFL.
“But I’m here now,’’ Talib said. “I’m here now.’’
It’s been that kind of week for Talib, as the cameras often go elsewhere in search of quarterbacks, but Talib continues to be the king of the one-liners.
