The Denver Broncos made a couple of cap-saving roster moves on Monday ahead of the 53-man roster cut down coming up on Saturday, August 31, 2019. According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Broncos cut both defensive lineman Zach Kerr and outside linebacker Dekoda Watson.
The moves clearly indicate a need to free up cap space. According to Spotrac, the Broncos were down to just $111K in cap space from their top 51 in salaries. How that fits in with the cap allow next week, I am unsure. The fact here is that these two cuts free up about $3.
