The Broncos found a trade partner for Randy Gregory.
They’re dealing him to San Francisco along with a seventh-round pick in 2024 in exchange for a 2024 sixth-rounder, a league source confirmed to The Denver Post.
The compensation isn’t much, but Denver spent the week intending to release the veteran pass-rusher if they couldn’t find a trade partner for him.
In that regard, moving up a few spots in the 2024 draft can’t hurt.
Denver was set to pay Gregory the remaining $10.89 million in base salary for the rest of this season had it released him, so even alleviating that amount in a small part would count as a win.
