ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- In the Denver Broncos' first practice of training camp in full pads Sunday, guard/center Sam Brenner was the most significant injury.
Brenner suffered a concussion during teams drills and fell to the ground face first following a collision in a crowd of players. Brenner remained on the ground for several minutes as he was evaluated by the team’s medical staff before he was helped to a cart, driven to the door of the Broncos’ complex near the team’s training room and then helped inside the building.
“It is scary," Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said.
