Running back C.J. Anderson sat in the locker room after the Broncos' 20-18 victory over the Patriots in the AFC championship game with a smile larger than any he's flashed all season.
He is heading back to the Super Bowl for the second time in three years, but this one is a little more special because of the location.
"I'm going home... for free," Anderson said.
Home for Anderson is Vallejo, California. He rushed for a little less than 4,000 yards at Jesse M. Bethel High School just 30 miles north of San Francisco and 65 miles north of Santa Clara, the host city of Super Bowl 50.
