One of the most worrisome spots for the Denver Broncos this offseason has been the nose tackle position, which was recently vacated by one of the league’s best run stuffers in Terrance Knighton.
Sylvester Williams, the team’s 2013 first round pick and the top returning option at the position, was expected to be the replacement for Knighton but some have been very hesitant to be excited about that. Williams hasn’t exactly lived up to the billing he had as one of the most explosive and strong defensive linemen in the 2013 NFL Draft, and the Broncos saw 435 snaps from him last year, fifth most among defensive linemen on the team.
