The Denver Broncos announced on Wednesday that they have designated cornerback Ronald Darby to return from injured reserve. This opens up a 21-day window where he can return to the active roster.

Darby could potentially play this Sunday against the Steelers, but usually we see players get a week plus of practice in before officially being moved back onto the active roster. It would be a nice boost for the Denver defense to get the veteran back and also help rookie Patrick Surtain a bit from being asked to do too much too fast.
