Dymonte Thomas, an undrafted free agent out of Michigan, played well while in Orange & Blue this preseason: seven tackles, one forced fumble with recovery, one pass deflected, and one career highlight. No. 35 picked off Cardinals quarterback Trevor Knight late in the second quarter and returned the rock 58 yards to blow the game open, giving Denver the 17-2 lead right before the half.
The play certainly made a difference in the Broncos decision to keep Thomas on the practice squad.
