The banged-up Broncos defensive line got a dose of good news Monday when first-string defensive ends Derek Wolfe and Jared Crick returned to practice on a limited basis.
Wolfe suffered a sprained right ankle during a practice Aug. 12. Crick exited practice the next day with a troublesome back spasm. Both players participated in individual drills Monday that took place during the media’s viewing period but were limited in team drills, coach Vance Joseph said.
“They looked fine and hopefully we can progress with those guys on Wednesday,” Joseph said.
Asked if he was confident Wolfe and Crick would be ready for the Broncos’ Sept.
