ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos defensive end Vance Walker was carted off the field Monday with a right leg injury after he crumpled to the ground during team drills at training camp.
Walker lay on the ground for several minutes, grabbing at his right knee at times, as he was tended to by team trainers and medical staff before being helped onto the cart and taken to the club house for further evaluation.
Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said Walker would undergo an MRI scan to determine the severity of the injury.
"Fingers crossed," Kubiak said.
