Broncos defensive end Jared Crick suffered a “pretty bad” back spasm before he was carted off the practice field Monday and his status is considered day-to-day, coach Vance Joseph said Tuesday.
“He’s been tight for a couple days and it spasm-ed up pretty bad,” Joseph said. “That was pretty much it. He’s day-to-day. Every day we’ll kind of see how he’s doing, but right now he’s out.”
Crick will stay in Colorado to receive treatment this week while the team practices against the 49ers in Santa Clara, Calif., ahead of Saturday’s preseason game between the two teams.
