ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos defensive end Adam Gotsis was arrested in Atlanta last week on a charge of allegedly raping a woman in 2013 when Gotsis was a student at Georgia Tech.
Gotsis, who was the Broncos' second-round pick in the 2016 draft, surrendered to Fulton County (Ga.) authorities on March 7 on a charge of strong-arm rape. Gotsis, according to records as well as team sources, was then released after he posted a $50,000 bond.
The 6-foot-4, 287-pound Gotsis was arrested for allegedly over-coming the will of a then-25-year-old woman on March 9, 2013.
