The Denver Broncos are mourning the loss this week of one of the team’s biggest fans: Ellen Levine-Jones, better known as “Bronco Betty.”
Levine-Jones, a Northglenn resident who attended Broncos games since 1960, died Wednesday at the age of 78.
“Broncos are saddened to learn of the passing of legendary fan Ellen Levine-Jones,” Patrick Smyth, a Broncos executive vice president of public and community relations, tweeted. “Since ‘60, ‘Bronco Betty’ has attended countless practices/games, waved the players on to road trips and greeted them upon return, no matter time/result. She will be missed!”
