The Denver Broncos have been busy looking to fill the roster hole - on paper anyway - left by the season-ending and subsequent release of right tackle Ja’Wuan James. They started with the signing of former-Chicago Bears tackle Bobby Massie to a one-year deal a week ago.
Massie, 31, should have the inside track towards starting in 2021. However, the Broncos weren’t done adding depth and competition. On Thursday, they officially signed veteran tackle Cameron Fleming. Fleming, 29, started a full season for the first time in his eight-year NFL career last season for the New York Giants.
