The Broncos’ week of practice ended like it started — with no starting quarterback announcement from coach Vic Fangio.
“I just wanted a chance to go in and look at the tape more extensively,” Fangio said Friday when asked what can change between Drew Lock and Brandon Allen.
Lock would make his first NFL appearance if he is Fangio’s choice to face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Allen would be making his fourth consecutive start if he gets the call.
Lock took the initial first-team offensive snap the past three days, suggesting he will be the starter on Sunday.
