Broncos claim C James Ferentz, TE Mitchell Henry off waivers

The Broncos selected their 53-man roster Saturday, but John Elway, as expected, was hardly finished shaping Denver's 2015 roster.

On Sunday, the Broncos claimed center James Ferentz off waivers from Houston and tight end Mitchell Henry off waivers from Green Bay, closing the door one one veteran, and spelling two others.

The Broncos have continually shifted their offensive line in the offseason, most recently signing veteran guard Evan Mathis.

Gino Gradkowski, a trade acquisition earlier this year, spent last season playing under Gary Kubiak in his zone-blocking system in Baltimore. Gradkowski opened Broncos training camp as the team's starting center, but lost ground to second-year player Matt Paradis and, on Sunday, lost his job in Denver as Elway had to cut two players to make room for his latest pickups.
