Broncos running back C.J. Anderson underwent surgery to repair the meniscus in his right knee Thursday and is expected to miss “significant time,” coach Gary Kubiak said. The team is still evaluating their options and his timeframe for return.
“Surgery was a super success been resting all day,” Anderson tweeted Friday morning. “FaceTime all my teammates got some good laughs #blessed love them boys.”
With Anderson sidelined, rookie running back Devontae Booker and third-year back Kapri Bibbs will take on bigger roles in the offense.
