Broncos president/CEO Joe Ellis said Friday that Brittany Bowlen “has expressed an interest,” in ultimately returning to the organization and serving as the next controlling owner.
The 28-year old Bowlen is one of owner Pat Bowlen’s seven children. Ellis is a part of a three-person trust established by Pat Bowlen to determine if one of his seven children is qualified to be the next owner.
“She’s taken some steps, some good steps, along the way in terms of her education,” Ellis said during a news conference at Dove Valley. It’s the first time Ellis said that Brittany has an interest in eventually owning the team.
