The Broncos will likely face the Raiders in Oakland without Pro Bowl cornerback Aqib Talib.
Talib, who did not play last Sunday against the Chargers because of a back injury, was not at practice for the third consecutive day.
Talib had traveled to California to seek a second medical opinion on his back Thursday. While on 850 KOA Friday morning, coach Gary Kubiak said the team received “positive feedback” from the appointment, but that Talib had another scheduled appointment Friday and would be evaluated after.
Bradley Roby, who started last Sunday in place of Talib and earned AFC defensive player of the week honors for his performance, would get the nod again in Oakland, while Lorenzo Doss and Kayvon Webster (if healthy) would take on bigger roles.
