If the Broncos keep winning coin tosses, Sean Payton says they’re going to keep deferring.

Most teams do the same thing, but few could possibly be squandering the advantage of starting the second half on offense like Denver has this year.

It happened again Sunday at Houston.

The Broncos won the toss, deferred and eventually fell behind 13-0, but got a field goal late in the first half and started the second half with the ball.

First play? A Russell Wilson sack. Then a short completion before another sack.
