Broncos safety Su’a Cravens went from flying around the field last Thursday against the Arizona Cardinals to injured reserve Sunday.
Coach Vance Joseph said after practice Monday that Cravens will have arthroscopic surgery and “be back in hopefully two months.”
Cravens is eligible to return this year because he was on the initial 53-man roster, but he will miss a minimum of eight weeks per NFL rule.
Cravens missed three weeks of training camp (including the first three preseason games) with knee soreness. But after the Cardinals game, he and Joseph were optimistic he would be available Sunday against Seattle.
