HOUSTON — Broncos right tackle Ja’Wuan James played the entire first half of Sunday’s 38-24 win over the Houston Texans, only his third appearance of the season because of a left knee injury.
James played 10 snaps against Oakland in Week 1 and 22 at Indianapolis in Week 8. He played 31 snaps against the Texans.
“That was the plan going in,” coach Vic Fangio said. “That thing worked out like we had hoped it would. (It was) probably unrealistic to think he could go the whole way.”
Elijah Wilkinson replaced James at halftime.
