CLEVELAND — Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy’s return from his Week 1 high ankle sprain will wait another 10 days after he was not activated from injured reserve for Thursday night’s game at Cleveland.
Jeudy was designated-to-return last Saturday, meaning the Broncos have 21 days to place him on the 53-man roster or keep him on injured reserve for the season. The Washington game on Oct. 31 will be seven weeks post-injury.
By starting his clock, Jeudy is allowed to participate in all team practice sessions. Following Tuesday’s first walk-through, he ran several routes and caught passes from backup quarterback Drew Lock.
