Although limited in practice Wednesday because of an ankle injury, all signs continue to point toward Drew Lock starting at quarterback when the Broncos face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Teddy Bridgewater remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol after being injured against Cincinnati on Dec. 18.
Lock, who was 15-of-22 passing for 153 yards in the Broncos’ 17-13 loss at Las Vegas, faced the Chargers defense in Week 12 when Bridgewater sustained a shin injury. Lock threw a second-quarter interception and Bridgewater returned after halftime in a 28-13 win.
“You definitely have a feel for (the Chargers) if you’ve been out there against them earlier in the year, but there is a lot of things that are going on right now,” Lock said.
