Broncos receiver Courtland Sutton’s 70-yard touchdown last month against the Los Angeles Chargers was a terrific play highlighted by two broken tackles.
Sutton’s 21-yard touchdown in Sunday’s 24-19 win over Cleveland had a similar degree of difficulty.
Lined up wide right against Browns cornerback Denzel Ward in the first quarter, Sutton ran straight down the field and scored when he equal parts out-jumped and out-maneuvered Ward to make the catch.
“I expect that out of Courtland,” Broncos coach Vic Fangio said. “A big receiver like that, you have to put the (football) up there like that and give him a chance to win those 50-50 balls.
