Before the Broncos’ Week 7 game at Arizona, linebacker Von Miller basically guaranteed a victory. The Broncos won 45-10.
On Friday, cornerback Chris Harris said his broken leg halted the Broncos’ season.
“I feel like we were definitely going to make the playoffs if I hadn’t gotten hurt,” he said.
Harris was injured early in a Dec. 2 win over Cincinnati, which moved the Broncos to 6-6 and in contention for the final AFC playoff spot. Without Harris, the Broncos lost to San Francisco and Cleveland.
Harris was aiming to play in Week 17 against the Los Angeles Chargers, but was shut down and put on injured reserve earlier this week after the Broncos were eliminated from playoff contention.
