Bradley Chubb returned to practice Monday as the Broncos’ outside linebacker attempts to salvage a season marred by multiple ankle injuries.
Chubb has played only 19 defensive snaps this year, in Week 2 in Jacksonville, and has been on injured reserve since undergoing arthroscopic left ankle surgery to remove a bone spur on Sept. 22. That ankle injury originally occurred in a preseason practice and was in addition to the right ankle injury that cost him the final two games of 2020 and most of the offseason/training camp.
“(Chubb) will do some individual drills (Monday), and if that goes good he’ll grab a handful of plays in practice on Wednesday,” coach Vic Fangio said.
