The Denver Broncos will be down a few key players on defense when they travel to take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday with edge rusher Shaquil Barrett out 2-4 weeks and cornerback Tramaine Brock out with a rib injury.
It will be rookie cornerback Isaac Yiadom in for Brock with second-year player Brendan Langley fourth on the depth chart.
“Yiadom’s in,” Head Coach Vance Joseph said on Friday. “That’s the third corner and Langley will be the fourth.”
The Broncos also promoted rookie edge rusher Jeff Holland from the practice squad, but Joseph noted that he wasn’t sure what role he’ll play on defense this week or if he’ll even be active for the game.
