The Denver Broncos won the opening coin toss and deferred to the second half giving the ball to the San Francisco 49ers to open up the game.
Tim Patrick made a good tackle on the kickoff to put the 49ers at their own 22 yard line to start the game.
Nick Mullens hit George Kittle on a quick crossing route to open the game for five yards. Another quick pass by Mullens netted a first down for another five yard gain. After stuffing a first down round, another run gains 10 yards and another first down.
