Hillman could be a keeper in the backfield
Time brings clarity in NFL free agency. The Broncos told running back Ronnie Hillman to judge his value on the open market. With only the Green Bay Packers showing interest, the Broncos have circled back to Hillman and have talked parameters of a contract.
Coach Gary Kubiak said last month the Broncos were open to keeping Hillman, who made 10 regular-season starts last year. He rushed for 863 yards and seven touchdowns.
"We're looking at every option. He's one of the free guys out there, obviously.
