In addition to completing a trade for quarterback Joe Flacco on Wednesday, the Broncos officially agreed to terms with Houston Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson and Miami Dolphins right tackle Ja’Wuan James and traded quarterback Case Keenum to the Washington Redskins.
Jackson (a three-year contract worth $33 million) and James (a four-year contract worth $51 million) will be introduced along with Flacco at a press conference on Friday, a day later than expected because of a storm in the Denver area.
“We’ve got two good football players that we targeted and liked the way they played the game,” general manager John Elway said in an interview on the Broncos’ website.
