Two weeks into the 2024 season, the Denver Broncos are soul-searching for their first win. While expectations going into the season were limited with Bo Nix, it’s an understatement to say that this season so far has been a shocking disappointment.
For being a supposed “offensive mastermind,” the only stat that the Broncos have binged on is 3-and-outs. Clearly what Payton thought would work with Nix has not. Tepid passes behind the line of scrimmage, flourishes of dropped passes, ill-advised interceptions into the end zone, and other horrors have already become hallmarks of the Sean Payton/Bo Nix offense.
