ENGLEWOOD, Colo. —The Denver Broncos, the National Football League Foundation Grassroots Program and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) will provide a $250,000 grant to install a new synthetic turf field at Aurora Central High School. The new turf field is expected to be completed and unveiled later this fall.
“The department of athletics and activities in APS, along with Aurora Central High School and the greater Aurora community are so incredibly excited about the opportunities that this new field will provide,” said Michael Krueger, Director of District Athletics & Activities for APS. “We truly realize the positive impact that this will have on our community, the students at Aurora Central and the many programs that will utilize the football field.
