Slowly but surely, the Denver Broncos are figuring out how to solve the Chris Harris Jr. contract situation. Mike Klis of 9News provided a quick update on Sunday that the two sides had spoken over the weekend and that they were inching closer to a deal for 2019.

He went on to note in a later post that there is ‘cautious optimism’ a deal will get done before the team begins their final part of the OTA program on Wednesday and before the teams three-day mandatory minicamp next week.
