Broncos agree to terms with OT Tyler Polumbus

The Broncos on Thursday agreed to a one-year contract with offensive tackle and former Colorado player, Tyler Polumbus, an NFL source confirmed.

Polumbus, 30, who was released by the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday, offers the Broncos security up front after a shoulder injury to starting left tackle Ty Sambrailo.

The rookie was injured during last Sunday's win at Detroit was held out of practice Wednesday.

Polumbus, a 6-foot-8, 308-pound lineman, went undrafted out of CU in 2008 and was signed by the Broncos, then led by Mike Shanahan. He has since played in 101 NFL games and made 57 starts.
