DENVER -- The Denver Broncos have faced their share of challenges.
Even in reaching the halfway point of their season at 6-2 -- the fourth consecutive season they’ve reached the halfway point 6-2 or better -- they aren’t always much to look at.
“We made enough mistakes probably to lose two or three games, in all honesty," Denver coach Gary Kubiak said after the Broncos' 27-19 victory over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. “We were challenged."
The Broncos are still tied for first place in the AFC West with the Oakland Raiders.
