The Broncos have been aggressive in securing respected and experienced coaches to fill their offensive staff. Saturday, they selected Jeff Davidson to be their offensive line coach, a NFL source said.
Davidson spent 2016 as the Chargers offensive line coach under Mike McCoy, but has 22 years of NFL coaching experience primarily as an offensive line coach or offensive coordinator.
There are now five known offensive coaches on the Broncos staff – McCoy (offensive coordinator), Bill Musgrave (quarterbacks coach), Eric Studesville (running backs coach), Tyke Tolbert (receivers coach) and Davidson.
The five combine for 93 years of NFL coaching experience.
